In Friday's league match, the host Marion Eagles football squad scored a big 62-0 victory over the Mesick Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Baldwin Panthers (Baldwin, MI) in a West Michigan (8 Man) match, on Friday, September 15. Marion will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record.

The Bulldogs (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Brethren (Brethren, MI). The Bobcats enter the West Michigan (8 Man) match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Brethren routed Suttons Bay (Suttons Bay, MI), 50-12, in a non-league match.
