South Carolina High School Football - Thornwell crushed by McCormick

September 8, 2023: McCormick, SC 29835

In Friday's non-league game, the McCormick Chiefs (McCormick, SC) football team smashed the visiting Thornwell Saints (Clinton, SC), by a final score of 53-0.

The Chiefs (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Dixie (Due West, SC). The Hornets come into the A Region 1 game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Dixie was trounced by Liberty (Liberty, SC), 48-34, in a non-league game.

The Saints now hold a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Varsity Opponent for a non-league game on Friday, September 15.
