The McKinley Panthers football team (Baton Rouge, LA), was beaten 34-22 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Plaquemine Green Devils (Plaquemine, LA)
The Green Devils (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Tara (Baton Rouge, LA). The Trojans come into the 4A District 6 challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Tara achieved victory over Broadmoor (Baton Rouge, LA), 18-12, in a league challenge.
The Panthers now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host West Feliciana for a 4A District 6 challenge on Friday, September 15. McKinley will meet a Saints team coming off a 41-9 non-league loss to Central (Baton Rouge, LA). The Saints record now stands at 1-1.
