The Minnetonka Skippers (Minnetonka, MN) football edged the host Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN), 22-21 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Skippers face the Edina Hornets (Edina, MN) in a Metro - West bout, on Thursday, September 14. Minnetonka will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Hornets enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 36-14 league loss to Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN).
