The Minor Tigers football team (Adamsville, AL), was knocked off 28-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Mountain Brook Spartans (Birmingham, AL)
The Spartans (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodlawn (Birmingham, AL). The Colonels come into the 6A Region 5 challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Woodlawn was knocked off by Central (Tuscaloosa, AL), 38-18, in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jackson-Olin for a 6A Region 5 challenge on Thursday, September 14. Minor will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 49-6 league loss to Parker (Birmingham, AL). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-3.
