Florida High School Football - Mitchell routs River Ridge

September 8, 2023: New Port Richey, FL 34655

The Mitchell Mustangs football squad scored 54 points and limited the visiting River Ridge Royal Knights to 19 in the Mustangs non-league win on Friday.

The Mustangs now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Wiregrass Ranch for a 4S District 6 battle on Friday, September 15. Mitchell will play a Bulls squad coming off a 34-28 non-league loss to Zephyrhills (Zephyrhills, FL). The Bulls record now stands at 1-1.

Coming up next, the Royal Knights play the Gulf Buccaneers (New Port Richey, FL) in a 3S District 6 battle, on Friday, September 15. River Ridge will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Buccaneers go into the battle with a 2-1 record after their 26-3 non-league win over Wesley Chapel (Wesley Chapel, FL).
