The Nettleton Tigers football squad scored 24 points and limited the host Saltillo Tigers to 21 in the Tigers non-league win on Friday.

The Tigers now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Calhoun City for a non-league battle on Friday, September 15. Nettleton will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 44-8 non-league win over Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-0.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the Houston Hilltoppers (Houston, MS) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 15. Saltillo will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Hilltoppers go into the battle with a 3-0 record after their 34-0 non-league win over North Side (Shelby, MS).
