The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Newcastle Racers (Newcastle, OK) and the visiting Plainview Indians (Ardmore, OK), observed Newcastle's football squad defeat Plainview by a count of 35-21.

The Racers now own a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Woodward for a non-league contest on Friday, September 15. Newcastle will encounter a Boomers squad coming off a 40-14 non-league loss to Bethany (Bethany, OK). The Boomers record now stands at 0-2.

Coming up next, the Indians encounter the Comanche Indians (Comanche, OK) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 15. Plainview will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 42-7 non-league loss to Marlow (Marlow, OK).
