The Purvis Tornadoes (Purvis, MS) football overcame the host North Forrest Eagles (Hattiesburg, MS), 35-20 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Tornadoes face the Long Beach Bearcats (Long Beach, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 15. Purvis will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Bearcats enter the bout with a 0-3 record after their 53-41 non-league loss to Bay (Bay St. Louis, MS).
