Mississippi High School Football - Noxubee County topped by West Point

The Noxubee County Tigers football team (Macon, MS), was beaten 50-40 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting West Point Green Wave (West Point, MS)

The Green Wave (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS). The Rockets come into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Neshoba Central was beaten by West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS), 27-23, in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shannon for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 15. Noxubee County will meet a Red Raiders team coming off a 21-0 non-league win over Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS). The Red Raiders record now stands at 2-1.
