In Friday's non-league game, the Okemah Panthers (Okemah, OK) football team knocked off the host Wewoka Tigers (Wewoka, OK), by a score of 43-12.

The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Stroud (Stroud, OK). The Tigers come into the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Stroud was knocked off by Colcord (Colcord, OK), 32-6, in a non-league game.

The Tigers now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Canadian for a non-league game on Friday, September 15. Wewoka will battle a Cougars team coming off a 6-6 non-league Savanna (Savanna, OK). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.
