    • Pennsylvania High School Football - Penn-Trafford sneaks past Woodland Hills

    September 8, 2023: Pittsburgh, PA 15221

    The Penn-Trafford Warriors (Harrison City, PA) football edged the host Woodland Hills Wolverines (Pittsburgh, PA), 28-26 in Friday's non-league bout.

    In their next game, the Warriors face the Belle Vernon Leopards (Belle Vernon, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 15. Penn-Trafford will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Leopards enter the bout with a 2-0 record after their 21-14 non-league win over McKeesport (McKeesport, PA).

    The Wolverines (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against North Hills (Pittsburgh, PA). The Indians enter the WPIAL AAAAA Northeast bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, North Hills nudged Gateway (Monroeville, PA), 26-14, in a non-league bout.
