Illinois High School Football - Peotone prevails Reed-Custer

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Peotone Blue Devils (Peotone, IL) and the host Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL), observed Peotone's football squad defeat Reed-Custer by a count of 41-27.

The Blue Devils now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Wilmington for a Illinois Central Eight contest on Friday, September 15. Peotone will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 49-7 league win over Lisle (Lisle, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-1.

Coming up next, the Comets play the Herscher Tigers (Herscher, IL) in a Illinois Central Eight contest, on Friday, September 15. Reed-Custer will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 34-33 league loss to Manteno (Manteno, IL).
