The Perry-Lecompton Kaws football squad scored 20 points and restricted the host Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] Cyclones to 6 in the Kaws non-league victory on Friday.

The Kaws now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nemaha Central for a non-league battle on Friday, September 15. Perry-Lecompton will play a Thunder squad coming off a 62-0 non-league win over Royal Valley (Hoyt, KS). The Thunder record now stands at 2-0.
