In Friday's league game, the Southridge Raiders (Huntingburg, IN) football team smashed the visiting Pike Central Chargers (Petersburg, IN), by a final score of 49-12.

The Raiders (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Gibson Southern (Fort Branch, IN). The Titans come into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Gibson Southern was trounced by South Warren (Bowling Green, KY), 45-28, in a non-league game.

The Chargers now hold a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host South Spencer for a Pocket - Small School game on Friday, September 15. Pike Central will battle a Rebels team coming off a 40-0 non-league loss to Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN). The Rebels record now stands at 1-3.
