The Scotus Shamrocks (Columbus, NE) football edged the host St. Paul Wildcats (St. Paul, NE), 22-20 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Shamrocks face the West Point-Beemer Cadets (West Point, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 14. Scotus will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Cadets enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 49-40 non-league win over Boys Town (Boys Town, NE).
The Wildcats (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Lakeview (Columbus, NE). The Vikings enter the non-league bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Lakeview was nudged by Boone Central (Albion, NE), 35-0, in a non-league bout.
