Oregon High School Football - Sheldon routed by West Linn

The Sheldon Irish football team (Eugene, OR), was ripped 41-3 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting West Linn Lions (West Linn, OR)

The Lions (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Jesuit (Portland, OR). The Crusaders come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Jesuit was ripped by Central Catholic (Portland, OR), 28-6, in a non-league challenge.

The Irish now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sprague for a 6A Special District 1 challenge on Friday, September 15. Sheldon will meet a Olympians team coming off a 42-20 non-league loss to Lakeridge (Lake Oswego, OR). The Olympians record now stands at 0-2.
