The West Jones Mustangs (Laurel, MS) football routed the host South Jones Braves (Ellisville, MS), 38-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Wayne County War Eagles (Waynesboro, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 15. West Jones will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record. The War Eagles enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 51-19 non-league win over Greene County (Leakesville, MS).
