The Warde Mustangs football team (Fairfield, CT), was ripped 37-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Xavier Falcons (Middletown, CT)
The Falcons (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Harding (Bridgeport, CT). The Presidents come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Harding trounced East Haven (East Haven, CT), 48-14, in a league challenge.
The Mustangs now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Canaan for a Fairfield County - East challenge on Friday, September 15. Warde will meet a Rams team coming off a 26-23 non-league loss to Shelton (Shelton, CT). The Rams record now stands at 0-1.
