Molalla Indians (Molalla, OR) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts Mustangs (Milwaukie, OR), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Indians confront the Gladstone Gladiators (Gladstone, OR) in a 4A Tri-Valley challenge, on Tuesday, September 19. Molalla will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record.

The Mustangs now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Junction City for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 14. Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts will confront a Tigers team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Valley Catholic (Beaverton, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 2-3.
