The Yuba City Honkers football team (Yuba City, CA), was knocked off 35-12 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Chico Panthers (Chico, CA)

The Panthers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Whitney (Rocklin, CA). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Whitney was knocked off by Heritage (Brentwood, CA), 21-14, in a non-league challenge.

The Honkers now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Inderkum for a challenge on Saturday, September 16. Yuba City will meet a Tigers team coming off a 41-0 non-league win over Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.
