California High School Football - Franklin nips Lodi

The Franklin Wildcats (Elk Grove, CA) football nudged the host Lodi Flames (Lodi, CA), 21-20 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Davis Blue Devils (Davis, CA) in a bout, on Friday, September 15. Franklin will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Blue Devils enter the bout with a 2-2 record after their 27-0 non-league win over Fairfield (Fairfield, CA).

The Flames (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Manteca (Manteca, CA). The Buffaloes enter the non-league bout with a 4-0 record. In their last bout, Manteca held off Rocklin (Rocklin, CA), 38-7, in a non-league bout.
