The Santa Cruz Cardinals football team (Santa Cruz, CA), was beaten 35-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Soquel Knights (Soquel, CA)

The Knights (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Scotts Valley (Scotts Valley, CA). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Scotts Valley achieved victory over San Lorenzo Valley (Felton, CA), 34-12, in a non-league challenge.

The Cardinals now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Watsonville for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 22.
