Valley Regional Warriors (Deep River, CT) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host North Branford Thunderbirds (North Branford, CT), 3-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Warriors confront the Hamden Green Dragons (Hamden, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 9. Valley Regional will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.
The Thunderbirds now possess a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Old Lyme for a Shoreline challenge on Tuesday, September 12. North Branford will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to East Lyme (East Lyme, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
