Spectators at Friday's league match between the Minco Bulldogs (Minco, OK) and the host Apache Warriors (Apache, OK), witnessed Minco's softball squad tip Apache by a count of 4-3.

The Bulldogs now sport a 17-5 record. They play next when they travel to Sterling for a non-league match on Saturday, September 9. Minco will face a Tigers squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Lookeba-Sickles (Lookeba, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 19-3.

With the loss, Apache moves to 10-12 on the season. The Warriors host Hinton (Hinton, OK) to face the Comets in a 2A match on Monday, September 11. The Comets go into the match with a record of 17-4. Hinton lost 3-2 in their recent league match against Fairview (Fairview, OK)
