Delta Panthers (Delta, CO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Eagle Valley Devils (Gypsum, CO), 17-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Alamosa for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 9. Delta will battle a Mean Moose squad coming off a 9-3 non-league win over Gunnison (Gunnison, CO). The Mean Moose record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Eagle Valley falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Devils host Battle Mountain (Edwards, CO) to battle the Huskies in a 4A Western Slope challenge on Monday, September 11. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 0-2.
