Colorado High School Softball - Palisade gets by Fountain-Fort Carson

Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Palisade Bulldogs (Palisade, CO) and the host Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans (Fountain, CO), witnessed Palisade's softball squad tip Fountain-Fort Carson by a count of 15-14.

The Bulldogs now sport a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Prairie View for a non-league match on Saturday, September 9. Palisade will face a Thunderhawks squad coming off a 21-11 non-league loss to Niwot (Niwot, CO). The Thunderhawks record now stands at 0-10.

With the loss, Fountain-Fort Carson moves to 3-11 on the season. The Trojans travel to Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Saturday, September 9. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 5-5. Montezuma-Cortez won 16-11 in their recent non-league match against Poudre (Fort Collins, CO)
