The Hydro-Eakly Bobcats (Hydro, OK) softball nipped the host Lexington Bulldogs (Lexington, OK), 4-3 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Bobcats (14-9) will now prepare for their bout against Blanchard (Blanchard, OK). The Lions go into the non-league bout with a 16-7 record. In their last bout, Blanchard was edged by Ripley (Ripley, OK), 6-2, in a non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 12-19 record. They play next when they travel to Stratford for a non-league bout on Monday, September 11. Lexington will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-2 league win over Maysville (Maysville, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 23-4.
