Marian Crusaders (Omaha, NE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Omaha Central Eagles (Omaha, NE), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Crusaders now own a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Millard West for a A District challenge on Tuesday, September 12. Marian will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 10-1 league loss to Omaha Westside (Omaha, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Omaha Central falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Wayne (Wayne, NE) to battle the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 9. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 4-3.
