The Tigers now sport a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Sullivan for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 9. Republic will face a Eagles squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Kickapoo (Springfield, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Marquette falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Truman (Independence, MO) to face the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 9. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 4-10. Truman lost 9-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Kickapoo (Springfield, MO)
