Colorado High School Softball - Rifle bounces Silver Creek

September 8, 2023: Longmont, CO 80503

Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Rifle Bears (Rifle, CO) and the host Silver Creek Raptors (Longmont, CO), witnessed Rifle's softball squad prevail over Silver Creek by a count of 14-1.

The Bears now sport a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Peak to Peak for a non-league match on Friday, September 8. Rifle will face a Pumas squad coming off a 14-1 non-league win over Timnath (Timnath, CO). The Pumas record now stands at 4-7.

With the loss, Silver Creek moves to 4-9 on the season. The Raptors travel to Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Saturday, September 9. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 5-5. Montezuma-Cortez won 16-11 in their recent non-league match against Poudre (Fort Collins, CO)
