The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Bernstein Dragons (Hollywood, CA) and the visiting Alliance Bloomfield Bulls (Huntington Park, CA), saw Bernstein's volleyball squad beat Alliance Bloomfield by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Bernstein upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Dragons host Belmont (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Sentinels in a Central bout on Monday, September 11. The Sentinels go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

The Bulls now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Animo Pat Brown for a non-league bout on Monday, September 11. Alliance Bloomfield will play a Gryphons squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Stern (Los Angeles, CA). The Gryphons record now stands at 0-5.
