The Bishop Amat Lancers held off the visiting Firebaugh Falcons volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league test.
The Lancers now have a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Mirada for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. Bishop Amat will confront a Matadores team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Marlborough (Los Angeles, CA). The Matadores record now stands at 8-3.
The Falcons (10-7) will now prepare for their test against Valley View (Moreno Valley, CA). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Valley View was nudged by Bell Gardens (Bell Gardens, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
