In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Sycamore War Eagles volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Johnson County Longhorns.
The War Eagles (13-9) will now prepare for their battle against Boiling Springs (Spartanburg, SC). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 8-9 record. In their last battle, Boiling Springs was edged by Chapman (Inman, SC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
