With the win, Mt. Whitney upgrades its record to 5-7 on the year. The Pioneers travel to El Diamante (Visalia, CA) to play the Miners in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. The Miners go into the bout with a record of 6-4. El Diamante won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Central (Fresno, CA)

The Lions now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Atascadero for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. Kerman will play a Greyhounds squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Tulare Union (Tulare, CA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 7-9.
