The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Marshall Tigers (Marshall, MN) and the visiting Owatonna Huskies (Owatonna, MN), saw Marshall's volleyball squad beat Owatonna by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Marshall upgrades its record to 5-0 on the year. The Tigers travel to Lakeville South (Lakeville, MN) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Friday, September 8. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Lakeville South lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Wayzata (Plymouth, MN)

The Huskies now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Burnsville for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. Owatonna will clash with a Blaze squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Elk River (Elk River, MN). The Blaze record now stands at 3-2.
