The Rusk Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Ore City Rebels to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now have a 12-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nacogdoches for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 12. Rusk will confront a Dragons team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 5-19.
The Rebels (1-13) will now prepare for their game against Beckville (Beckville, TX). The Bearcats enter the non-league game with a 11-15 record. In their last game, Beckville gained a win over Garrison (Garrison, TX), 3-1, in a non-league game.
