The Pirates go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Winfield won 42-12 in their recent league battle against Midfield (Midfield, AL)

The Bulldogs now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Carbon Hill for a 3A Region 5 battle on Friday, September 13. Hanceville will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 31-8 non-league loss to Colbert Heights (Tuscumbia, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.
