Fans at Sunday's non-league battle between the Saranac Spartans (Saranac, NY) and the host Schuylerville Horses (Schuylerville, NY), saw Saranac's soccer squad knock off Schuylerville by a count of 2-0.

The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against AuSable Valley (Clintonville, NY). The Patriots enter the Northern battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, AuSable Valley tipped Crown Point (Crown Point, NY), 7-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Horses battle the South Glens Falls Bulldogs (South Glens Falls, NY) in a Foothills Council- North battle, on Tuesday, September 17. Schuylerville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
