With the victory, J.R. Tucker moves its record to 4-3 on the year. The Tigers host Freeman (Richmond, VA) to battle the Mavericks in a Colonial contest on Tuesday, September 9. The Mavericks enter the contest with a record of 3-3. Freeman lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA)

Next, the Dukes battle the Heritage Hurricanes (Newport News, VA) in a Peninsula contest, on Tuesday, September 9. Gloucester will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Hurricanes go into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 3-2 league loss to Bethel (Hampton, VA).
