In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Mount Juliet Golden Bears football squad scored a close 21-14 victory over the Cookeville Cavaliers.
The Golden Bears (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Wilson Central (Lebanon, TN). The Wildcats enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Wilson Central was tipped by Coffee County Central (Manchester, TN), 22-16, in a non-league battle.
