Leesville Wampus Cats (Leesville, LA) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Tioga Indians (Tioga, LA), 16-12 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Leesville improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wampus Cats host Alexandria (Alexandria, LA) to play the Trojans in a non-league battle on Monday, September 22. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 1-0.
With the defeat, Tioga drops to 2-1 on the campaign.
