In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Naperville Central Redhawks flag football squad scored a decisive 38-6 triumph over the Joliet Central Steelmen.
The Redhawks (4-0) will now prepare for their match against St. Francis (Wheaton, IL). The Spartans come into the non-league match with a 6-4 record. In their last match, St. Francis routed Fenwick (Oak Park, IL), 18-0, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Steelmen meet the Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL) in a match, on Wednesday, September 10. Joliet Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record.
