The Ellet Orangemen nipped the visiting Barberton Magics soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Orangemen now hold a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North for a Akron City contest on Wednesday, September 10. Ellet will face a Vikings team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Shaw (East Cleveland, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 2-3.
The Magics (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Roosevelt (Kent, OH). The Rough Riders enter the Suburban - American contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Roosevelt held off Lake (Uniontown, OH), 4-0, in a non-league contest.
