The Mounds Park Academy Panthers held off the visiting Hope Academy soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Monday's non-league game.

Next, the Panthers play the St. Croix Prep Lions (Stillwater, MN) in a Class A Section 4 bout, on Tuesday, September 9. Mounds Park Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 1-1 league St. Agnes (St. Paul, MN).

With the loss, Hope Academy moves to 0-4 on the year. The travel to Columbia Heights (Columbia Heights, MN) to play the Hylanders in a Class A Section 5 bout on Thursday, September 11. The Hylanders go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Columbia Heights won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Park Center (Brooklyn Park, MN)
