In Monday's non-league outing, the host Lapel Bulldogs soccer team scored a close 5-3 triumph over the Muncie Burris Owls.

With the triumph, Lapel advances its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Wabash (Wabash, IN) to clash with the Apaches in a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. The Apaches come into the test with a record of 0-6. Wabash lost 8-0 in their recent league test against Manchester (North Manchester, IN)

The Owls now have a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Blackford for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13.
