Pennsylvania High School Football - Governor Mifflin sneaks past Hempfield

The Governor Mifflin Mustangs football squad scored 8 points and limited the visiting Hempfield Black Knights to 6 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Monday.

The Mustangs now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Exeter Township for a non-league test on Monday, September 15. Governor Mifflin will face a Eagles team coming off a 30-26 non-league loss to Central York (York, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.

The Black Knights (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against J.P. McCaskey (Lancaster, PA). The Red Tornado enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, J.P. McCaskey was edged by Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, PA), 40-0, in a non-league challenge.
