In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Sterling Tigers football team scored a tight 12-8 win over the Lamar Thunder.
In their next game, the Tigers play the Fort Lupton Bluedevils (Fort Lupton, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 27. Sterling will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record.
The Thunder (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against McClave (McClave, CO). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
