The Richwoods Knights football squad scored 54 points and limited the host Manual Rams to 18 in the Knights league triumph on Monday.

The Knights now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Centennial for a non-league test on Monday, September 15. Richwoods will meet a Chargers squad coming off a 14-12 non-league loss to Champaign Central (Champaign, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Manual drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Bloomington (Bloomington, IL) to meet the Purple Raiders in a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. The Purple Raiders come into the test with a record of 1-0.
