Mount Tahoma T-Birds (Tacoma, WA) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Yelm Tornados (Yelm, WA), 22-12 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Mount Tahoma upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The T-Birds travel to Timberline (Lacey, WA) to face the Blazers in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 15. The Blazers go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Timberline lost 28-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Enumclaw (Enumclaw, WA)

The Tornados (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln (Tacoma, WA). The Abes go into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
